Looking for some excitement, but not looking to head into the city tonight? Look no further, because Nineteen 19 Bar & Grill is bringing some spice to Philly’s suburban scene. Located at 1254 West Chester Pike in Havertown, PA., this new spot offers something for everyone. It’s an upscale sports bar at happy hour and a high energy dance club at night with a full food and drink menu. Want more? The house DJ is Q-Ball from the Bloodhound Gang and events include other live entertainment, happy hours, karaoke nights and Quizzo games.
“This is way more than a neighborhood bar,” said Matthew Rossi, owner of Nineteen 19. “We’re taking all aspects of corporate restaurants and bringing them into a single operation."
Do NOT miss the grand opening celebration starting Friday, August 17, sponsored by Captain Morgan. Get down with Wired 96.5 as they broadcast live from the dance floor. The festivities spill into Saturday, with the Philly2Night party, sponsored by Pinnacle Vodka. There will be Made in America concert tickets and a dozen Phillies tickets given away; you could be a winner just by showing up. Both nights will have great food and drink specials, and feature an ice luge.
If you aren’t sure what to try during your first visit, Rossi suggests starting with a flatbread, handmade dough and all your favorite toppings included. Follow that up with any of their great entrees, but in particular the Ahi Tuna steak with sides of Asian slaw and wasabi smashed potatoes. This isn’t your typical bar food, it’s a culinary experience.
Come out for the grand opening celebration and feel the heat at Havertown’s newest hotspot. For updates on Nineteen 19, follow them on Facebook. See you there!
