Alfa Restaurant and Bar is around eight months old now, and after some messing around with doing the same old soup-salad-entree-dessert thing, the brain trust here at Alfa decided to think small. Small plates, that is. It's like a bunch of little appetizers you can share with your friends. Ok, and just for the record they are not tapas. Tapas are great and we love to eat at Amada and Bar Ferdinand, but Alfa is more like Tapatizers (sounds like a ray gun, like, "Agent X, we have for you the cutting edge in military hardware. It can shoot 300 little balls of slow cooked pork a second. We call it the Tapatizer.) I digress. Trouble is we still don't know what the heck to call it. C. LeBan calls it "International Bar Food" and who are we to debate it? Whatever it is it's damned good. Oh yeah, and when you're finished you can hit the Walnut Room upstairs for more cocktails, the best DJ's in the city, and plenty of hot young people.
