Description
The Plough & the Stars is located in Old City Philadelphia on 2nd Street, close to the corner of 2nd & Chestnut St. Our restaurant and pub is located in a restored historically preserved Corn Exchange Building, dating back to the early part of the 20th Century. The 24ft ornate ceilings, molded Corinthian columns and dramatic 16ft windows add to the ambiance.
The Plough & the Stars is located right in the middle of the action and is a perfect base for your exploration of Old City Philly and the Historic District. It is a block or two from the New Irish Famine Memorial, Penn's Landing, The Delaware River, the Old City Art Galleries, the Arden Theatre, the Ritz movie theatres as well as the New Constitution Centre and Independence Hall!
We hope you can join us.
